About Jane Cornwall

 

I am a fully qualified chartered counselling psychologist with eight years of training in psychological theory, research and interventions. I am registered to practise as a psychologist with the Health Professions Council; I am also a member of the British Psychological Society and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, my professional bodies.

 

I have worked as a therapist for thirteen years in various NHS, forensic and voluntary sector settings. In 2007 I set up my own private counselling psychology practice in Coventry and more recently in Stratford upon Avon. I have an extensive knowledge and experience of treating long-term psychological and emotional difficulties and mental health issues. My specialist interest is in the treatment and recovery from trauma, drug and alcohol misuse and childhood abuse. No matter what the difficulty is that you have and how stuck you feel in your present place I am confident that I can help you.

 

Having previously worked in the NHS for a number of years, in November 2012 I decided to focus upon my growing private practice in Coventry, Stratford upon Avon and Alcester.

 

I am a provider for anyone wishing to access therapy via AXA and Aviva insurance.

 

I also offer supervision to counsellors in Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
